Linneu de Albuquerque Mello is a lawyer, law school professor and arbitrator with 25 years of advisory and litigation experience.

Doctor in the Science of Law (SJD) by the University of Michigan Law School (Ann Arbor, 2012), Master of Laws (LL.M.) by the same university (2009) and a Graduate degree in International and Comparative Taxation by the Harvard Law School (Cambridge, 1998).

Resident in Rio de Janeiro, he also works in São Paulo, in the Brazilian Federal District, and in international operations.

He stands out for his expertise in the areas of Civil, Corporate, Tax, Arbitration and Legal Compliance, with special attention to the Oil and Gas industry.

The firm develops analyses, definitions and improvements of legal work, risk assessment and procedural strategies, analysis of tax documentation, operations risk and due diligences for corporate reorganizations, structuring of investments and the like. The firm also acts as an advisor in the implementation of anti-corruption and compliance mechanisms in corporate environments.
